Well basically i'm working right now, but somehow sales doesn't begin at all. So, to endure through the plain moment... i decided to blog. Besides i'm shivering quite widly now. The air-con seems to be working RATHER well today. So anyway...

The week went passed and i can say it's pretty good. Start working again, which is a good sign for me to try to earn as much as i can for the month of January. But i couldn't say the same for things at home. The "letter" came but this time with the people. Looking at the documents, my family life could be very well destroyed pretty soon enough. I understand posessions aren't everything... but that's where the sentimental values of what a good family used to be, stayed. I'm just left speechless and quiet.... What can i really do?

On a brighter note, i can't wait to watch the full season 18 episode. Fast cars, endless trashy behaviours of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May as well as the awesome challenges. i' m just endlessly glad just thinking about it. Anyway, i gotta go. Customers are giving me that particular stare, that you know they see you but the pretend to do something else. Toodles.

PS: Just has some chopped fruits. Healthy living here i go. :D

Hey all. Well nothing new or somesort, but i guess despite that i have to do something here... like updating the schedule or something. Anyway, it has been a really hectic week and it's one of those things you don't wanna talked about. But i can assure you that everythings gonna be fine... for real. Hospitalised.

Well I'm sure many of you were wondering where the heck have i been all this while. Well to be honest, not anywhere you wanna go. I've been in the hospital trying to recover from some illness, let's just put it like that. Been injected with needles for as long as i'm there. They took alot of blood tests, insert in liquid and the scary Insulin jap. In pain, but still bearable. Spend one & a half day at the hospital, under constant observation of a team of doctors, and the kind-hearted nurses. :)

So now, my diet is strictly controlled and i have to stay away from comfort food and some cuisines. Well, not that bad as compared to being stuck in the hospital. I have another appointment in a week time, so till then... aweful food here i go! :D

PS: The meds is mega powerful that it gives me a few migraine for a the whole day.

So it's been 5 days...

Nothing much is going on... except the same old stuff. If i'm not at home with my family, probably i'm at work. If i'm not working, most likely i'm with my friends. So it's been the same routine till this very moment.

Except today, i somnehow felt ill in the afternoon. After taking my afternoon shower (yea guess how many times i shower in a day), i lay down only to experience migraine and stomach discomfort. After i place some ointment, i stay in bed since mom told me to do so... with a cardigan on. Somehow i felt a little chilly, but i'm not having fever of any sort at all. By evening, i felt better already.

And this brings me to this... Brace yourselves.

Battle between Motorola Razr and Samung Galaxy R.

Before i start, it's not really a comparison as to which phone is the better one... i'm just stuck between choosing these two phones. I've been looking through reviews from these 2 guys... Samjpullen as well as PhoneArena in Youtube. So far they provide good reviews regarding these 2 phones that i mentioned early on.

What attracts me to this phone is the fact that it's an alternative to the rather expensive Galaxy S2. I admit S2 provides that best features and function but with my given budget, i just have to settle fo Galaxy R instead. The metal polish finishing at the back draws me in as compared to S2 plastic feel. Furthermore, it provide the best Android experience as well as media especially the camera.

I'm not really a fan of Motorola, but this phone in particular caught my attention right on. The build quality with added Kelvar made back finish just spells 'Solid Build'. Some of the functions inside the phone does impress me, but just one tiny little bit that upsets me. The camera function. It's not the worst and certaintly not the best as compared to others. However the battery life under average usage is superbly good. 2 days worth of usage... isn't that outrageous?! :D

My brain tells me to settle for Galaxy R but my heart felt for the good quality built of the Razr. So which one should i really go for?

PS: This month proves to be exciting after all. :)

Morning errants and evening short night out...

Woke up early today than my usual mid-afternoon timing... only because i have to accompany my mom and lil-sis to the wet market. You see, in the family, i'm considered the hitman. All heavy loads and stuff are my responsibilities, but i never once complaint. I was happy to do it anyway.

Typical day at the wet market, althought it's not as busy as before. Anywho mom didn't actually go on a full aggressive mode, she is much more laid back now... meaning lesser stuff she managed to buy. So as usual after that, we have breakfast at Aliff Restaurant. Roti Prata with Dalcar.... AWESOME!!!! :D

Then somewhere in the afternoon, meet-up with some friends to chill out. But boy was i wrong. I have no idea they were gonna bring me to watch a movie at Jurong Point. We took a cab there and quickly got the tickets. Time was running out, so we than got ourselves some popcorn and some drinks and off we go into the cinema. I must say i'm not aware of this movie, but after watching it.. it's quite interesting, full of suspense.
Oh yea, i fogot... the movie we watched is actually this one below...

Pretty good movie, with some expected scenes. Not gonna ruined it for anyone reading this, so i'm gonna let you guys witnessed it on your own. My ratng would be 3 out of 5 stars. :)

So lil-sis aka adigeng akibeqster... is looking forward to the I-D tour concert that is happening in the mid of 2012. The thing is she is a huge fan, and for once i actually allow her to go for it. The trouble is, it's not cheap and thus we have to start saving now to ensure that not only we get the tickets, but also some pocket money for her on that actual day. No point being broke after the concert.

As for me, i've been in a pretty messed up mental state.... a little close to being a Bi-polar. But i'll try my best to control it. Afterall, New Year is just around the corner. Despite working on that day, i'm really excited for the countdown.

PS: Moment like this, i really can't wait for my pay to comeby once more. D:

So anyway, i was planning on opening a new bank account... but not in DBS. I mean i already have an account there, i just need another account where i could keep my savings safely on my own. I don't have much actually but i believe that bit by bit, i can build the savings. So anyway i have a few choices that my friends and family came out with... OCBC Frank, Maybank, Citibank and Standard Chartered.

Standard Chartered attract my attention right away. Something about them that manage to convince me to open an account there. Not many outlets or ATM machines in Singapore i must say, but that is what i really counted on. That would hindered me from tempting to touch the account which in return would help me in the process. OCBC on the other hand is great. I mean i could easily get my pay into my account immediately. And they are fairely easy to be located thanks to the FRANK card. It's like my DBS card, where it does both NETS and VISA transactions. But that wouldn't make a different would it? It's like i could just open another DBS account. Maybank is a good choice, and so is Citibank.... But after much thought, i see OCBC as a better choice.

Today, i spent the day watching movies like James Bond: Tomorrow Never Dies, She's The Man as well as So Close. It's nice to catch on the older movies that never fails to satisfy me. And yea, did a little groceries shopping with family and had a good family dinner at Macdonalds.

Returned home to only be greeted by the movie, Jumper, which was telecasted on Channel 5. Pretty good show, but the presence of the Actress "Bella" kinda ruined the moment. I don't hate her, just that i don't really fancy her character. But thanked god her appreance is worth 5 seconds of the show. Totally a huge relieved!

So it looks like i should start warming up for GranTurismo5 online game match. Afterall, i'm so close i modding my beautiful third car... Audi R8 V10. :)

PS: Can't wait to show later on with mum and lil sis. :D

One of those Awesome Days...

Well, yesterday prove to be one exciting day. Got my paycheque and immediately head down to Qisahn.com to purchase the PS3 console. But before we got there, i took a walk into Memory Lane @ Achorpoint Shopping Centre. It's been years since i step into that place, and as usual... i couldn't help but to see what have changed and what remains as it is. Was walking around while i stumbled upon a small shop called Royal Runaway.

The items sold and on display caught my eyes immediately. So i went in with my lil sis to browse around. And i must say i quite impress with the products, quality and unique at the same time. Shortlly after i saw the beautifully displayed vintage bag and immediately look at my sis. I knew she wants one since her last one results in the straps to be detached from the bag. This one is rather unique. It has a gold buckle and is in a velvet maroonish-red colour.... something rare to see in a bag. Take a look at the price and decided that i should buy for my lil sis soon. As soon as we walked away from the store, i turned around and head back in. I forgot about the notice that states, 20% discount. So we manage to get the bag from $25.90 to $20.70. Totally a good bargain. The trip doesn''t end there, we stop at this concept bakery store called SwissBake Cafe.

The croissant, struddles and donuts is definately to die for... The texture is really crunchy while the insides are very soft and fluffy. The fillings are definately very sweet, sweetness of real fruits unlike the conventional jam fillings. It's good to be there, and i wish to visit it again someday... maybe next month.

So anyway on a serious topic... I feel that despite the Cab fare hike that took place a few days ago, i would still take one when i need to rush from one place to another. It's something we need at this fast-pace country like Singapore. So maybe it's not worth getting too angry about after all.

PS: Addiction to games started to take a toll... Yikes! D:

Tiring day at work.

Well basically yesterday was the longest and tiring day at work. Had to move the stocks and equipment back to the refurnished store after a total o 4 days of store closure. It was suppose to be fun, but somehow some just don't enjoy fun like others. Instead he's being pedantic... picking every little mistake and rubbing it onto my face. I did tell my collegue before, if he ever pissed me off... i'll walk away. I don't care who he is, i do him a huge favour to come down and help, where in fact i could have stayed at home and enjoy my fun time with my family. So anyway, the store is finally done yesterday and after work, i took a long relaxing shower.

On a sad note, my pay isn't ready yet. Which means i have to wait all the way to Monday. :\
But what to do? I just have to wait and see. -screams-

Well i haven't been, yet again, updating my blog. Well this time around it's nothing to do with the pure laziness or work overload.... it's just that my internet connection has been terminated to make way for the new generation Fibre broadband. The people from OpenNet came yesterday to fix the fibre main point terminal, before any fibre broadband modem can be connected. It took merely half an hour, which is pretty quick, but they left behind ALOT of mess. These includes dust from the drilling, a pen and some wall hook pieces.

So anyway i wanna share about my one in a million dream that don't really happen frequently. Well it's not considered rare, as it was the first of its... "Genre" to be played in my dream. So this is how it goes, briefly... i think.

Basically i had a baby boy in my dreams. Not sure to whom am i married to, but whatever it is i do take good care of him like my very own. Bring him around to places he adores like the playground. Attend to him when he cries. Protect him from something he was scared off. Worried for his well-being when he was ill. It's such an amazement to even see me doing all these things at the age of 21. I mean i know there's nothing strange about that, but i wouldn't even see myself as being that responsible or reliable. It could be a good sign for me in the future... or it could just hint something totally different. Anywhooo... it's quite emotional thinking about it.

On another different note, i wanna do an opinion-base review on game stores. Basically between Qisahn.com and Gamewerks.

I have been searching for the most value-for-money choice for a new PS3 console all around Singapore... kind of. I went to ERA @ Plaza Singapura, Qisahn.com @ Far East Shopping Center and Gamewerks @ Clemeti. Between all those that i've mentioned, it came down to these... Qisahn.com and Gamewerks. The similar thing about both of this stores is that they have a relatively similar pricing in terms of their consoles games, the games, the accesories etc. But one difference i can point out is that the salesperson at Gamewerks is more approachable and have a full understanding of what a customer wants, needs and possible could have all within a budget or package, that Qisahn.com is lacking. To compesate that, Qisahn.com has a special membership however struggling in maintaining the stocks. To add on, Gamewerks location is far more convinient than of Qisahn.com. But i'm not showing to see which is the best. I mean both are great as they are, it's just that i would like to give a penny for a thought. Besides, ERA isn't that bad either. Their console package are plenty that you're stuck on deciding which and i have more assurance in ERA as compared to the other 2 places i've mentioned.

So yea, i better get back to work... before someone reported me of being a lazy salesperson. Toodles.

Let's start out with a typical story. How bout waking up in the afternoon realising you're late for work? Well sadly enough, that did happen to me today. So knowing i was late, i thought to myself "Why rush?". I made some breakfast, had a long refreshing shower and got dressed. By that time, it was really late. Just as i was about to leave home, my family return back home. Saw lil sis with a new phone so i assume dad got her the student plan. Somehow later, it turned out to be a furious moment for me. At first i was angry as i thought the line he got for lil sis had no internet access. I mean who would in the right mind do that after i explain the importane of internet access in this brand new generation. But after i found out it did had an internet access, i was relieved. However i was quite annoyed as he could have ask my sis what phone she wants, so she can get her hands on her favourite HTC Chaha, instead of the Samsung Galaxy Ace. But i guess things happened, so life have to move on.

So it looks like my journey to work couldn't get any more exciting.... actually it did. For the first time, bus service 927 was a bendy bus. It was a wild wet journey to work, thanks to the weather. Once we reached the location, the bus was suppose to turn at the roundabout before stopping at the bus-stop but somehow, the driver drove into the coach bay, exit the lot and reverse all the way to the bus-stop. The tedious process took away 10 minutes of my time. I could understand the driver judged that the bus wouldn't make through the roundabout from his expression, but actually i felt the bus could. The roundbout has a huge gap, allowing the bus to turn wide around the roundboutm successfully avoiding the curb. I mean that is why the gap was made in the first place. And just to add insult to my forsaken hardship, the punchcard machine breakdown. This is where this comes in... FML.

PS: I see whether i could upgrade the Samsung Galaxy Ace to Gingerbread 2.3.

What a Saturday...

Well there's really nothing much going on today. For the usual fact that it's raining and that i got work in a few hours time. -screams-

Anyway, my workplace is gonna undergo some major renovation... and i think that's great. I mean the place could really use some new designs and concepts. It's a little old and outdated. So anyway, spend some time with my friends and get used to the COD gaming experience. I must say i started noobish, but eventually i get used to it. It's really addictive playing with friends.

And on a different note, was thinking of going for another holiday getaway this coming January. Not sure of the locations and which week of the month i would be going. But some suggestions that were made are, Cameron Highlands and Genting. We'll see how the planning goes for now, i just have to work and earn money... all the way till i hit NS.

PS: Bout 2 weeks more to the awesomeness day of my life... :D

Cable Broadband to Fibre Broadband...

Well i was with my sis at LotOne buying some food when i came across M1's roadshow counter. They are having a promotion on Fibre Broadband @ $39/month for 100mbps, which i find it really cost-saving. So i started to find out more about the Fibre Broadband. Upon further digging of info, it turns out that my apartment is not fibre-ready, so the promotion might not be available for me. But the guy offer me another alternative that is to go for the non-promo @$59/month for 100mbps, which include a free fibre-ready installation which would otherwise costs me another $250. To me, that is a really good deal, considering i really am irritated with the 'responsiveness' of my internet connection.

So right now, i discuss it with my dad. We can either get M1, or continue to be loyal to Starhub. And at the same time, i was talking to him about getting lil sis a youth 3G plan for my sis once the phone contract is done. The reason, as you all would have known, is that it provide so many benefits to my sis under a small fee. For about $39+ a month, she can enjoy using mobile data up to 12GB (Which is MORE than enough). In addition, she have free incoming calls plus unlimited SMS. So why pay $100+ per month like what dad is doing right now, when we can reduce it all the way down to about $40. Also if that happens, she can get her hands on the HTC Chacha she always wanted. ;)

PS: If i could get PS3 for free, that means i can use the money for other better things...

Looks like another week passed... and things seems normal, nothing out of the ordinary. Just have been spending awesome time with lil sister. Well when i say awesome time, it pretty much involved FOOD. From Wendy's to Popeye... Cheesefries to Gongcha. Cravings overload!

Well I can't wait for the day i will be able to get the PS3 console. There is so much excitement just thinking about it. Furthermore, i can start reliving the moment of playing GranTurismo.

So anyway... i wanna share something. It might look like i'm talking behind someone's back or get involved in a addictive gossip habit, but this thing has been bothering me QUITE alot lately. There is a HUGE difference between showing off your possession and being EXTREMELY BOASTFUL!!! This is why:

I respect him as a friend but i'm mega frustrated with the way he said it all out. I'm not tryng to dwell over the past, but i remember giving away my last pocket money to him so that he can have lunch in school when we were younger. I'm not expecting anything back... i just wish he knew where he really came from.

So anyway, today me and lil sis manage to go to Ngee Ann City to get some snacks, although despite that she still doesn't know the direction. On the way there, we came across some guys giving out apples in promoting some high end shop having discont holiday promotion. Little do i know 'someone' were chasing the boy holding the basket of apples, instead of the apple itself. :P

On a different and exciting note, a friend of mine tag me on a holiday getaway in January. Just that first... i don't feel like going for a holiday. Second... no point going for one if you're gonna owe people money. It's just something i wouldn't do. But we'll see.

Apparently, eveyone is excited about this day just because it's in binary code. You know what? I am too, and not for the reasons you expect. This day is gonna be awesome for both me and my sister. :)

On a rare note, i never felt so happy and impressed riding a bus none other than Mercedes Benz Citaro O530. It's very comfortable, quiet and amazingly quicker than any bus i took all my live. The bus is by itself a low-floor bus, so that means even the disable can enjoy the comfort as well. Unlike the Mercedes Benz OC500LE, there is plenty more seats and at the same time provide an adequate amount of space for the wheelchair-bound. That should be the way. Cause honestly, i felt depress riding the OC500LE. It's like you know you can never get a seat if the crowd started pouring in.

Stuck In The Middle...

I was constantly told by my parents to save up my money for future rainy days...a very goof advice not just to me but to anyone who read this. However, lately i felt that i must do it because i have to... not because i'm willing to. And that stresses me up.

Lately, i've been saving money to purchase a decent HD compatible television as well as a brand new Playstation 3 console. I admit i never actually successfully manage to save my hard earned cash to buy the things i'm hoping to have except for this ones. At the same time, i'm thinking of what my mom said about saving money and spending on things that is neccessary. Plus, i have to fund for my lil sis religious class study materials. That got me stuck. I felt pity for my mom, and i would try my best to help but at the same time... it's not everyday i got to save enough money to buy the things i want. It doesn't matter what i choose, i would ended up feeling either guilty or dissatisfied.

On the other hand, i felt moody this year on Hari Raya Haji. I felt that the family bonding i used to have with my family and relatives seems to fade away slowly. I wasn't noticeable anymore. No one actually bothered to talk to me except for my Aunt Zai and Uncle Aidil, lil sister and my 2 cousins Ana and Yani. It didn't bother me at first, but later i discover... it is a big deal. Moment like this i miss my late Aunt Nia. Only god knows what I'm feeling.

On a happier note... Shall be making Chocolate Fudge with lil sis tomorrow. Well what can i say? She is the only sibling who ever cares for me through thick and thin which is why i'm afraid that one day, she might not need her brother anymore to keep her accompay. When that day comes, i shall leave it to the hands of God Himself. :)

PS: I'm thinking of not buying the TV, but just save it for the PS3 console plus some games.

Well finally i'm back to blogging since weeks ago. Well right now i'm pretty stressful, trying to ensure i can buy the LCD HD TV by November, PS3 by December and hopefully Samsung Galaxy R by February. Yea, i'm sure you notice how much more organised and planned my whole spending is. This to ensure i keep track of the plan and not just gave up.

Anyway i have been thinking alot lately about myself. Apparently my sanity level seems dangerously low... and that is something worth worrying. :\

Gosh, it's good to be back... to blogging that is. Been very busy lately... especially at work, trip and outings. Got me broke too early than usual. But than god, i'm still able to spent with some money left in my wallet.

So basically today is teacher's day. Sad to say i am unable to visit school today as i have work to attend to. But the spirit of celebration makes me flashback to the days in Secondary school. I was fugly and always under constant outcasts. But im glad i grow up to be better than that. So gonna keep it short, a little exhausted today. Till then, see ya. :)

Fun week...

This week has been kind of a great week for me. Let's just say that i finally had my paycheck, and i'm very proud looking at the digit. Never have i earn so much, almost near a 4 digit figure. I'm very thankful indeed.

The very first thing i do with the cash is to settle all possible debts and bills that is left laying around on my table. As soon as that is done with, only than can i used the money for my self pampering me. As you know i have been eyeing on a specific shoes on the net for quite some time now. And happened that my sweet babe works at that company as well. Wanna know what it is? Here you go.

Thought that's done? Not quite. I used some more money to pay for a trip to KL with 3 other buddies of mine. Thankfully, the coach and the hotel was booked and the date was all settled. Ah yes, it's good to be back again. Has been preoccupied with school and a whole lot of other shit i have to deal with....

Like getting stuck on the expressway due to road closure
Shivering half to death with the bus aircon hitting maximum coldness during the rain
Dealing with an Animal Activists who got owned by me
Going to the Bird Park for a 20 minute tour... afterwhich was bored to hell
Huge hatred towards Night Safari dinner pack
Being broke and encounting the days to the next paycheck

So basically the month of Ramadhan has started, it's the fasting month for those who have no idea what i'm talking about due to severe brain lag. I must say i'm looking forward to it. Who doesn't when i can get to spend some quality time with my family during break fast. Especially watching the table filled with food and snacks for the whole family.

The weather has been rather wet lately...and on some occasion with a hint of lightning and HUGE SPLASH of wind. In other words, indoors or under the umbrella, you're bound to get wet. But it seems to clear out today, and the weather is jolly good... not too hot and not too cold either.

Besides that, me and my buddies are planning to have a holiday vacation this coming september at KL, Malaysia. We figure out we need a proper one since the last disasterous trip. What differs now is that all of us can afford to expenses thanks to a proper job. Me with my new sales retail job, Nik with his place in the hotel, Mus pose as admin clerk and Fay... well with his same old operation job. 4 days 3 nights for relaxation, fun and maybe just wonder off without any thought of anything else. Well don't take things too literally. Not really barking like a dog, just been sneezing non stop today. And because of that i'm very weak and unable to focus much at school and test today.

Besides that, just realised we got at least 2 weeks left before the starting of Hari Raya Puasa. I must say i have been looking forward to it. I just love the atmosphere of fasting and shopping around at Geylang. :)

I just couldn't wait for my pay this coming monday, i mean why wouldn't i be? It's been 2 freaking months since i've been broke and unable to spent much like i used to. Everything has to be given a full thought. Now maybe i could ease a bit but i have to plan my financial this time round more crucially as the paycheck is only gonna be given once a month unlike my previous twice a month. Furthermore, this time round i have to collect my paycheck personally from the HQ, no longer automatically cash-in in my account.

On another concerned note, finally i can start paying off the debts one by one. That is definately a sign of relief, a huge one indeed. Once i'm done with it all, i might spent some cash for myself. Like some new clothes for work, shoes and perhaps a decent pair of cardigan... but that very much depends on the balance though. Can't be spending so much, but turned out broke only after half a month.

PS: I want to eat Long John Silver!!! :D

This is BMW 335i coupe. What attracts me to this special one is because of the details and modification that has been done to make the car more lovable than ever. The rims is perfect 19 inch size, the bodykit is a spetacular M Technic and the speed is just enough for me to get high... 305bhp.

But right now, i guess i could only look at it from this very seat right now. A thing of this beauty has yet been affordable for me right now...

PS: I feel very fatigue this pass few days. :(

This week has been alright. The kiddos are finally back in school... and cause a major jam-packed situations everywhere during peak hours. What a bummer. :P

So anyway, school has been fun. Surprisingly, not that stressed as compared as the first few weeks. However, i still can't remember some of the classmates. Mainly because of the akward moment when we happen to cross our eye upon one another.

Tomorrow is gonna be my first day of work, that involves me opening up the store. Usually it was done by my deareast collegue, Claire, but tomorrow is her first day off since last month. Yes, i'm not joking when i said that. Tomorrow is her very first off day. She has been working 24/7 for this month alone. It's about time she deserve a day off from work. And speaking of work, i'm gonna be alone tomorrow. So i guess i need to head to work tomorrow a little early. And at the same time, maybe stop by to buy some snacks to keep me hungry-free during work. And since the store is a little quiet, i will be doing some cleaning. Afterall, that is the main priority of a jewelry accesory shop isn't it? Maybe i'll fix some sound system too, but we'll see how the day goes tomorrow.

PS: Can't wait for my 1st paycheck! WOOO! :D

Today is one of those days i didn't play much but it turns out great. First of all i manage to get my hands on the beautiful device above... HTC HD7 together with a new 3G Flexi Lite mobile plan for $0!!! AWESOME!!!

My plan is that i keep this phone in tip-top conditions so i can sell it off in high value and add the value with some of my savings... i would soon be able to afford the ultimate HTC Sensation. It's all about planning. Can't get it to work, do it another way.

And i took my BTE test today and BAM.... i finished my test in 10 minutes with a score of 99%.

I PASSED!!! WOOOO!!! :D

PS: Now i just need to get a hang of Window Phone functions for better usage...

First day of work...

Today is the first day of work at my new location. I must say i was very excited. Not a slight nervousness got to me. That was indeed something i don't get everyday. So anyway while at work, met with Annie... the boss of the store as well as Claire, the staff there. Both of them were really friendly and nice to work with.

And i must say in one day... i kinda pick up alot of knowledge.

"Gold plated, brass & Alloy made figurines. Regular Jade with no grades. Chilies hung for good luck. NETS Transaction. AMEX Transaction. Visa Transaction. Cash Transaction. Closing report. Supervisor check. Witness signature. Float & Sales compartment. Bus ride home @ 12.40am."

As you can see above... all that in just one day. But the best thing is that on my first day too, i manage to earn my very first commission. How great is that? I hope to learn more so i could be ready to take on a role as a Sale Assistant. :)

PS: I am so gonna get myself a pedant and maybe take a trip to Night Safari as my very first time.

Went for an interview just now for a new job. Wasn't nervous but strangely i really am looking forward to it. Afterall why would i be with a boss that is casually nice. It's been a long time i have those kind of people in my working life.

So anyway the office is located at Henderson Industrial Park, near to Bukit Merah Bus Interchange. Didn't get lost like i expected, since the place is rather huge and well labelled. The interview went great and i'm started work tomorrow. How exciting is that? Gonna meet up with the boss, Annie, first before she introduce me to a full-time staff there. I'm definately very excited.

I feel that i couldn't thanked God enough. He gave me this opportunity i never imagine i would get to see.
Syukur Alhamdulillah.... indeed.

PS: Gonna focus on work for in time for the phone and trip on september. :)

No job = Desperado on the loose

Have been on a job hunt once again. This time round i really wanna try to avoid F&B. I feel that it's not really worth the money for the job i do. So i went online and apply for 3 positions. Part-time Sale Staff, Part-time Archade Crew and Part-time Call Center Operator. I really hope that one of them replied cause i have no idea how i'm gonna carry on anymore.

HTC Sensation is releasing in 3 days time. As part of the official released in Singapore, they had a free admission party from 9 to 2 the next day. Sound great, but too bad i won't be able to made it. I don't have friends who would be interested to tag along with me. So anyway... yes HTC Sensation. A dual core processor phone with a 4.3 inch screen display. With the unique aluminium uni-body, this phone is just so perfect. Let's not forgetting the new HTC Sense 3.0. People can argue and claim that LG optimus 2x and the soon-to-be-released Samsung Galaxy S2 are both dual processor phones as well. I agree, but there is nothing interesting about them. LG Optimus 2x is fairly good, being the first one with dual processor. Samsung Galaxy S2 on the other hands looks rather cheap. They love the idea of having alot of plastic around the phones. Yes, this is a good compromise for the better S-Amoled screen display. But i just don't feel any uniqueness. Take away the phone and the outer skeleton of these phones, and you're left with the same exact ones. That is why i favour HTC Sense 3.0. You know nothing came close to it.

PS: I've completed Prototype, and now left to hunt for another new game i could try to play.

Unexpected Monday...

So last Monday was really unexpected. Were busy doing my school presentation when suddenly there are messages from my 2 buddies in facebook, asking me to tag along to a movie. Usually i would say no cause i don't like watching random movie like they do. I got a certain taste in the movies i watched.

So after buying the tickets, we were left with an hour or so to do other things before going in. And since we have yet taken dinner, we decided to have a meal first. Initially aiming to eat at Banquet, but its been too often that we had dinner there. So i suggested eating at Botak Jones @ Woodlands outlet, and surprisingly they agreed! Finally, i get to eat at Botak Jones. It's been my craving for so long. So anyway, i ordered a regular Fish&Chips with spicy fries and coleslaw as my sides. But before i could eat it, i was shock in disbelief. The regular is kinda HUGE to be considered a regular. I wonder how much HUGE-er is the large gonna be? Fay had his way with Cajun chicken set, with sides of fries and Chessy Mash Potato. Mus had his in a classic Sirloin Steak, complete with the same sides as me. The meal is an exquisite one, considering the food is really impressive... well to me that is.

Soon after, we went in for our movies. If you were wondering what it was... well i give you a hint. What's huge, learn karate and have a huge appetite? None other than Kun Fu Panda 2. Not gonna be a spoiler this time around, but i can tell you it's nice to have a good laugh every now and then. And this movie is one of em. I must say the theather is packed with youths, maybe due to the June school holiday that has just commenced. Rating would be 3 smileys. (Sorry, no smiley mark this time round. :[ )

I have found another job, that i'm gonna try for. This one looks promising, but of course i won't put too much hope on it. Till then, have a nice time.

PS: Looks like i have to postponed buying a phone till when i finally had a job. :(

Well, this week is boring. Most of the plans involves staying at home counting every blade of grass on the field below. But it's a good thing though, at least i don't have to spent much. I admit that the amount of money i have seems to be depleting at a very fast rate. Worrying, considering i haven't even started work yet! -bites lip-

So i have been downloading Leverage. It's a sudden fasination i had that makes me wanna watch the whole season of it. While waiting for U-Torrent to do its job, i watch a parody movie... called Dance Flick. It wasn't as funny as i expect it to be, but i gotta say the dance moves in the movies is pretty awesome. Like the pole dance scene the most. I know it's not the actual actress who does the moves, but whoever did it is damn sexy... well i assume that is. Cause her hair were always on her face... so it could also be she have a hot body in tat not-so-appealing facial structure.

So that's all i have to say for now. Till then, i would be busy trying to loose massive pounds before my next check-up. -screams-

Bad weekend...

Basically todays sucks so bad. Sucks beyond imaginable... because i miss meeting Fay at the polyclinic as well as my job orientation. -screams-

Supposingly set my alarm clock on my phone the day before to ensure i won't be late for the job orientation. But i realised it doesnt ring today, because i have set the alarm to only ring on school days. So upon vbeing suckish after the discovery, i proceed to watching TopGear since lil sis isn't around.

So anyway this week, i manage to watch another movie with my buddies but this time round... all four. Fay, Mus, me and Nik. We get to watch Pirates of The Carribean: On Stranger Tides. I admit i wasn't a huge fan of this movie, let's face it but i was amazed that the movie kept me very entertained throughout. It really prove me that it's not one of those boring, predictable movie i come to assume after watching The Priests. Not much to be reviewed of the movie, as it would just spoilt the rating. I would rate this movie JJJsmileys.

So moving on... when i watch Tru Jackson at Nickelodeon, i always fancy Danielle Biscutti, the one who plays the bewitching Amanda Cantwell. The reason is her acting is really very good, that it somehow convinced me that she is who she is when she acts. But when i did a little research, she isn't!. She can actually sing, to my huge amazement. She has a few title which you can see for yourselves at youtube. And she sounds so humble and act average around people. I really adore her because she does in fact has amazing talent in acting as well as music! Shall start to be her fan now... FB HERE I GO!

Anyway while on the net this week, i finally manage to find the name and pictures of my old time favourite car... 2003 Mercedes Benz 500 SL R129. It is a 2 seater convertible with either a hardtop or a softtop. What i like about the car is the looks of it. It's very elegant and sophiscated. When i say that, i mean during the time it was first presented to the world. Of course now you have the modern and powerful version which is the SL 500, which is many more good looking netherless. Another thing about the car is that it doesn't look that outdated even in now. Maybe, according to my opinion, is because of the flawless design that doens't consist of too much hardcore arches that may look stunning but tends to get outdated once a new more hardcore version with even harsh radical arches is out.

This is more powerful version, SL 73 AMG.

On a very sad note, I need to sell my Nokia 5800 to earn me some cash to get me going. Sounds pretty low but that's how the situation is now. Hopefully i can start working at my new job asap, so i can get the money to flow into my account by next month. In the meanwhile, my savings is depleting really fast. :(

So anyway have been sick since Friday. Started out with running nose but it soon turns out to be a very painful sore throat. Took some commerical medicine... like panadol and Woods cough candy. A cheaper alternatives from those clinic bills.

So the weekend wasn't really special. Nothing out of the extraordinary. So today, it was planned that i would go and meet some friends and buy stuff. When i say buy stuff, i mean them not me. Not much to say for now, but i will very soon. So till then... Toodles.

Damn you F&B...

Well if you notice, i have been trying to find a job that doesn't relate to F&B industry. Don't get me wrong, i have nothing against it, except for the 'underpaid' issue which i'm sure eveyone would agree. I have a record for working in the F&B industry through the whole of my working life... 5 years to be exact.

The quest of finding a job in the hospitality or retailing industry seems to be unsucessfully. The kind of feedback i get is, "You have a strong record in F&B, so why would you apply for retail position?" or "You suits best in other department of the industry.". So now the question is... just because of my records, does that mean i can't excel in other industries as well? How am i gonna prove to the management if no chance was given, equally to others who have no experience, or more experience in other industries besides F&B. And sorry if this sounds like another one of my rants, but i just have to address this issue.

So yesterday i got the chance to catch up a movie, Priest. Good show, if you're into violence as well as gore and that's about it. The show looks promising at the start i must admit, with the convincing introduction of a wonderful storyline. However what shocks me is the ending. I mean the bad guy in this movie is an immortal vampire which is basically invincible. Meaning to say nothing kills or stop him from doing more destruction to mankind. However how he died is rather typical Hollywood ending. For an immortal that awesome, he was killed when the train collide with a superbike fitted with explosive... while the heros were alive, unhurt. And the show doesn't even have an ending. It like as if there is a continuation of the movie soon to be released or something. Quite dissapointed with the ending, and for that i rated the movie JJ smileys.

Also... Fay has finally got himself the phone he always wanted. Sony Ericsson Xperia X12 aka Arc, in midnight blue. So much for midnight blue, cause i couldn't tell the difference between my black housing phone either. I must say the screen is mega huge and the risk of it being scratch or hit is very high, which explains why he spent a whopping $12 on a screen protector. Expensive, but it ensures that the job is done right. I would do the same too if i had a new phone that big. The phone looks promisingly elegant, and the plastic here and there... isn't much of an issue. I mean why would it be, considering that i have been using phones which has plastic housing since my very first Nokia 3310. As far as i'm concerned, plastic means i can replaced it the moment it got damaged for a fraction of a price of those metal ones. And speaking of phone, I'm seriously having a dilemma cause i have yet got my hands on my awesome HTC Incredible S. I don't usually prefer matte, rubberish texture but this one is an exception. It somehow feels right, and the new additonal of the Red version ones makes it even better. I thought to myself that red is not gonna be that good looking considered that it has matter surface, but after seeing it first hand...i take that back. It was indeed a stunning beauty. I mean how many phone companies have phones that is in a bold Red colour? A few i would say, but HTC pulls it out nicely. Gotta get mine on 10 Jun, if i had enought greens...if you know what i mean.

PS: My cravings for sushi has not yet been fulfilled. Gotta get it soon... -screams-

A very busy week indeed...

This week has been very busy for me... including some beneficial and time-killing moments. Not all fun and games... and not all serious neither.

So what did i do this week. Well basically i have enrolled myself into Class 3C license at BBDC, under school category. Many have said that private category isn't that bad but i was being made to understand that school offers more theory base information that may come useful in passing the overall license in the shortest time possible. My buddy Fay with his mum, had decided to go for class 3A instead but still the same school category. So right now, we are actually in a competitive mode to see which one of us would actually pass the license first... although from the very start i've already known i couldn't achieve that considering the practical is one expensive part out of the course. And also manual driving takes time to fully understand how it works, but that's okay. Practise makes perfect. So right now, i'm just waiting for the BTT to take place before proceeding to FTL.

This week too, me and my other 2 buddies went to watch the most highly anticipated movie ever... Fast&Furious 5. It was indeed very impressive, base on my opinion that is. What makes this movie different from the earlier part of the movie is that this one actually brings all the important character from Fast&Furious 1 and 2Fast 2Furious as well as Fast&Furious: Tokyo Drift together in an attempt to rob the manipulative businessman, ensuring justice is served upon them. Of course at the beginning, it seems that they are stealing cars and money for their own benefit, but later on the story revealed the side that all this was done to put the bad guys behind bars. Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock takes on the role a sthe Elite group of the police force. He was all on to them when towards the last part, he join forces as well to bring the bad guy down. Of course this doesn't mean that he would never try to chase them again. Definately the best show to watch for all the fans of Fast&Furious series. I shall give it, JJJJJ Smileys. :)

Lately, i have watched this reality show on channel 5 called 13: Fear is Real. The show has a good concept, which seperates it from other reality game like Survivor. No offence, but I used to love Survivor but now it just seems so pathetic and quite dull. I just don't find any reason to even try to watch the show, maybe it's just me. So anyway this show started out with 13 people inside an abandoned house. The are given a serious of tasks to be done, and those who failed to complete them ends up being "killed" or face the execution ceremony. Throughout the game, some of the players are given a Blackbox, which allows them to take out one of the players which comes to them as a threat for their survival in the game. The whole game is infact just a game. But the series of tasks and challenges they took looks as real as it gets. The challenges or tasks isn't something like fixed back a puzzle or run through the obstacle. Their tasks is more on being buried alive, trying to flee from a trunk of a car before the crusher crush you. Exciting and a little eerie. And i'm not making it up! See the promotional poster below.

Oh yea, i forgot to mentioned that i finally got my lil sis the phone she always wanted... HTC Wildfire. The reason why i get her this instead of getting the Blackberry Bold repaired is because, the Blackberry isn't actually the best phone to use if you aren't able to make use of the BB apps market. With the brand new Wildfire, she is able to download endless amount of applications which i think makes her and dad extremely happy. It was said that Wildfire has a very bad screen resolution but when i use it in real life, it's not actually that bad. Considering its better than my old but heroic Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. Just wish that i can get my phone on 10 June... want it really bad. :(

Hit by another bad news...

Well first of all i wanna reveale the good news first. My lil sis got her phone, HTC Wildfire. It's sad that it's not available in red or white. But i guess black is alright, besides black means our phone would match once i got mine on June.

Yea. June.

Well unfortunately, i can only start re-contracting my mobile plan on 10 Jun. Was quite dissapointed as i was really looking forward to it. But i guess there's no other choice but waiting... in the meanwhile i can borrow lil sis phone for internet browsing once a while. :P

So now came the bad news. The thing is i went to the Polyclinic Dentist today i was shocked again with another bad news. Because of my Diabetic conditions, it has somehow start affecting my oral mouth as well. As a results, my mouth is unable to heal quickly and thus much decay has been resulted. The dentist told me i have to undergo 2 wisdom tooth removal and help fix my gum disease. Yes all that is benefitial for me to get healthy, but all of that cost money as well... something i can't afford just yet. Mom suggest i just get my painful wisdom tooth removed first, the rest can wait when i can afford it. The other way was for me to contact the Hospital Social Department for financial schemes to help me get my treatment with some help in paying the bills. Hopefully, i would received good news when i call them tomorrow.

PS: Finally updated my lil sis phone to Android 2.2.1, sync her music and create a good ringtone for her. :)

2nd week since school started....

Today was exclusively different. Take a trip to Woodlands Polyclinic for the Dental Services there. Basically there are the subsidised and the non-subsidised service... the later one providing more options. However little do i know that an appointment had to be made before going for dental consultation. Seriously, no idea at all. Normally it would take me a week to get an appointment with the dentist, however i was lucky cause i got a spot for tomorrow morning! Awesome! :D Hopefully i could get this done and over with.

3 more days....

Till the moment where i finally got my hands on my dream phones. I have my dream phones for the couple of years back then but none was granted. Maybe because i hasn't start earning for myself back then, so not much freedom was given to me.

For example when i first fell in love with Samsung Pixon 12. It was the first phone ever to have a 12 megapixle camera to be fitted to a phone and also my first time to come across the term of AMOLED screen. It has a nice build and quality reflected on its design.

Then after that, Sony Ericsson Satio take the replacement. This phone too offers 12 megapixle camera on the handset however with more colour choice. It's very attractive and attract me so much that i thought of owning this beauty. However that didn't happen.

Then recently my obsession with HTC Desire HD. It is the first android phone i felt in love with, well actually its the first phone that i like which provide Android. There is where my journey to study what Android is all about begins. Again, the phone has a very good build quality and that material choosen to make it seem that cheap doesn't come near to HTC.

So for now, I'm excited as well as worried... not so much relating to the phone. It's the fact that i'm goiung for a dental consultation tomorrow and I'm mega afraid of the NEEDLES!!! D:

PS: I need to remember selling away my blackberry as well as my current Nokia 5800 that has been true to me for this long.

It's been too long that i last said i wanna own a new phone for myself that is entirely my choice. Well, it looks like i don't have to wait any longer. The day is coming near!!!

All the necessary things are taken note of to ensure smooth operation during that day. Things like contacting the dealer for the availability of the phone, ensuring that i could sign up for a new line without any extra charges... as well as asking mom to tag along. Thinking about it just makes me go insane.:D

PS: I'm experiecing earache, toothpache and migraine. What exactly am i suffering of? :(

Watch this movie with my family last Saturday. I must say, it's been a while i got myself laughing non-stop in a theater with the rest of the viewers. The movie really promises new hilarious comedy for everyone to enjoy, the young as well as the old. Basically it's a story of a domestic rare male bird who have to meet with the wild female rare bird of the same species to ensure that their generation would continue to produce its kind. Inevitably, things didn't go as plan and soon they were going on a journey to free themselves from the smugglers.

Well it's been 2 weeks since i'm not workinhg. Don't get me wrong, it's not about the laziness or the fact that i don't feel like working... it's just because there isn't any work at all! 2 weeks of nothing, which is gonna cost me on payday next month. Which is why i starting to look for an alternative job to back be up in case this sort of things happened again. Cashflow is indeed very crucial for me to proceed with daily life.

So anyway, today is the first day of SCHOOL! Yes, i'm pretty excited because i can finally get back to studying for the better this semester. Although the weather starts out being a jerk. It rained and i love it actually, but not on the first day of school with me wearing sleevesless shirt. It just adds to the sleepiness that i've been trying to avoid.

So alright, today is a very short and simple post due to the fact i'm having classes now. But before that, here's a quick photo-summary of the joyful day that takes place last Saturday.

So for the past few weeks, i have indeed been busy with work with a thought that it can help me enjoy during the holidays before school starts. However that isn't always possible with debts surrounding me... and outings i've been owning people for quite some time. Money has to be spent, the more i try to save it.

Speaking about money...

GONNA RECEIVE $800 FROM THE GOVERNMENT! WOOOHHOO!!!

And last Saturday, spend some good time with the "Bile nak makan ni" gang. It's fun being with them, knowing that anyone of us might end up being a fool to make everyone laugh.

So anyway, this week is gonna be one hell of a broke week. Not because i am broke, but mainly because i have no work at all. No events at the hotel for this entire week, just coincidently before school starts. Now that means something... either that or there are on to me for always coming to work late.

I have been planning my finance lately to ensure i don't missed out paying for anything. Cause i realised the more i postponed my debts, the worst its gonna put a toll on me. Furthermore, i just wanna clear the debts as much as i can so i could go back with my life without worrying too much. And i figure the hotel job isn't right for me. I mean the work is alright, but the people there are the most hyprocrite people i have ever work with in my entire working life. I started to miss KFC, not for the company of course, but the staff there. It's so family oriented and warm feeling there that i miss the whole lot of them now. I wish to visit them one of these days.

At the same time, i was planning ways i could attain the HTC Wildfire for my lil sis despite my tight budget. I was thinking that once i got my phone... she would get hers too. But from the looks of it, i need to make a huge sacrifise for that to happen. I don't mind, as long as it proves that despite having problems... i can still manage my finance on my own. Then after each of us had a phone, i was thinking of getting the Ipod Nano for myself. Been eyeing on that magnificant piece of engineering for ages now. Just that i don't have the money, or i felt it isn't that much of a priority as compared to my cellphone.

So for this week, i found another beautiful sports sedan...

So as a typical guy would say..." I can't wait for school!!!". Oh lord.

PS: I always picture myself having a great life i know i couldn't have. Depressing much?

Well remember when i use to blog about how cheap used cars can be and such? Well i made a slight mistake. Little do i know that even for a car that costs 20k, the monthly payment is still quiet huge considering you don't have a 10-year monthly payment, instead you have a 3-year monthly payment. Lost? Let me break it down for you.

Let's pick two examples...

So what we have here is Subaru Legacy and Mitsubishi FTO with the Subaru being more expensive than the Mitsubishi . Now, take note on the Reg date. The Subaru is registered around mid of 2005, while the Mitsubishi is registered around late 1998. So the Subaru is about 6 years old while the Mitsubishi is about 13 years old. So that's that.

When you buy a car, you would need to have a loan and with a loan... you would need to look through the terms.

So now the situation.

The Subaru is less than 10 years, so it is entitled to a monthly installment stretch over a period of 10 years. Whereas the Mitsubishi is more than 10 years and from the table, it is entitled to a monthly installment stretch over a period of the remaining years of COE left, for this case 7 years. (Look at the Mitsubishi FTO info above)

So when calculated,

you have to pay a monthly installment of $480 monthly for a period of 10 years for the Subaru Legacy and you have to pay a monthly installment of $564 monthly for a periof of 7 years for the Mitsubishi FTO.

So there you have it. A car which cost less in terms of price, actually cost you more in terms of monthly payment. And that hasn't even include the road tax and so on. So what i learnt is that a car might look cheaper for a car that exceeds 10 years old... but behold of the monthly installment term that comes with it.

As usual, inevitably, i came across this beauty.

It's a BMW 330Ci Coupe. The most beautiful one I've seen. Monthly payment of $584 for a period of 10 years. As compared to the Mitsubishi FTO, which is around $564 monthly for a period of 7 years... i rather get the BMW. It's just overly stunning! :D

Today was awefully boring... considering i was knock-out everytime i lay down on my bed. But the mornings and afternoon isn't that bad. Manage to accompany lil sis to buy her friend a birthday gift. No need to be something valuable... sometimes the thoughts count more.

So anyway, as usual, i was just looking through the Used Car lists at SGCarMart to see what kind of car that is available for sale, second hand. I found a few good one like this one over here...

...and a few others that i would think of owning once i got my license.

Of course all those price aren't inclusive of the COE and road tax. But right now, if i were to have $50k, i would get the FTO. I mean the MR2 is FREAKIN' HANDSOME but the GTO is more modern and it serves to be more appealing to a guy my age. ;)

Last time, i remember when LG amaze the world with it's innovative creative phone that has a transparent keypad. That was the only phone company who offers that kind of phone... not even the 3Gs Iphone could back on those days.

However, the fame of being the first phone to come out with the impressive design has been overshadowed by it's shameful failure of having a bad software. The phone was reported to be constantly laggy and froze too frequently. Furthermore, the functions available is not that much but one thing is a major turn off to this phone... Its price. It was quite expensive that its just not worth the money on this particular phone.

Now however, LG amazes us again with another first innovative project... Presenting the first phone in the world to run on mobile Dual Processor.

LG Optimus 2X

This time round, it was hope that it would gain back the people's heart from the dissapoinment of the Crystal phone. However, after watching some preview on it... i can say that once again, it's no different from any other phone of a single processor. It is just better in terms of gaming... otherwise the rest is rather average. But i must credit them for producing a phone that is not too bad, like the last time. This time round they manage to at least stay within the same standards of other phone competitors. As for me, i hope HTC would make a response to this phone... something that runs on Dual Processors as well.

PS: I'm planning to get my phone by the end of April. :D

Yes. Finally it's here... THANK GOD IT'S MONDAY! After working for 4 agonizing days back to back, it started to have a major toll on me. Actually it's not about the work itself, but rather the people i work with. Let's just say when east meets west... all hell break loose.

So anyway, yesterday was one of those days i came to work late by 2 hours. Reason being was i woke up at 11.45am. And in an attempt to hurry my way through the shower, clothing and packing... i told Mus that i would be late and try to make it there asap. And since i'm quite late, i decided that i should take the cab. Unfortunately... none of Singapore's efficient cab is available at all. So i end up waiting for an hour for a cab. Just makes the whole "late" ordeal even more... LATE!

So anyway, today just gaming at Fay's house. Nothing much. Working tomorrow, what a great way to spend my holiday break.

PS: LG Optimus 2x is out. Besides from the Quad Processor... i don't see anything extraordinary about it at all.

Been working hard lately... more than what i would normally. This is so, i can pay off all my debts as soon as possible. I just don't like to owe anyone money, cause it just makes me feel uneasy and stressed out. However, school is starting soon and i have to tone down a little at work. That's the least of my concern. I'm more worried about the fact that i won't be able to earn more money when school reopens to treat myself to the new phone that i have been going insane for. Sad but what else i could do.

I suffered a heavy migraine yesterday that leaves me in pain for the whole time at work. Today was better, however the migraine has yet to leave me alone. I'm guessing the stressload is getting unbearable that it's starting to affect my health. And another sad note though, I gain a few kilos and this is something to scream about. I need to get back on my Weight loss journey to fulfill the goal i set myself to.

Talking about school...

I need to retake another year of school to fulfil my requirement to graduate with a diploma. I wouldn't mind all these, as long as i can still continue to study. However i need to start getting myself discipline in order for me to stop making the same mistakes over and over again. No point given the chance if i'm not gonna change.

PS: I'm exhausted but i have to stay strong... To end this nightmare.

After the accident, you can safely say i'm not in a very good financial state anymore. The $230 damage cost has yet to be settle. So one way to overcome that is to find another job. I don't really care about being exhausted anymore. I don't wanna sit down and wind about how unfair the world is. I wanna get up and make an effort to do something about it. Also i could really use the extra cash for myself and family.

So a few moments ago, i applied for a part-time position at Marks & Spencer and the Library. Don't laugh. I don't find anything wrong with being a librarian. Not that it was meant for the weak. It was actually meant for those with a strong mental strength. I mean seriously, who can stand being in the library looking through thousands of books daily through the whole shift at work. And if that doesn't work out, i can fall back into retail. I seriously hope one could respond to my email and resume. -cross fingers-

PS: I recharged by dusty Blackberry Bold in a attempt to use it again. However, the buttons are still unable to function properly. I don't know why i always thought that the phone would repair by itself by keeping it in the drawer untouched...

Look at what Singtel has to offer...

This is Nexus S by Samsung. The phone is amazing, considering it has a S-AMOLED screen display... which in simple terms is the best for the best graphic and colour experience. I've heard alot of reviews saying that the previous version of this, the Nexus One, is the best phone they have during that time. However, because of the fact that they are not selling well, maybe because it wasn't available outside US, they came out with this. The difference is, Nexus One was created by Google and HTC whereas this was created by Google and Samsung.

The phone is running on Android Gingerbread 2.3. Yes, that is far the best updates as compared to Incredible S with Froyo 2.2. But take note that when Incredible S makes an update... it would also be running at a better Android version than Nexus S. In terms of camera wise, it pretty much not the best i could get in the market. It's just 5 megapixle with a flash. Nothing spectacular or bad at all. The music wise is great, but as i mentioned before... not the best there is. The worst thing i found out about this phone is that there is no expandable memory. Meaning i would only be limited to the phone's 16GB internal storage, somesort like the Iphone.

Somehow, i'm expecting more from Nexus S. I thought of it to be the ultimate phone i could have. Maybe it still is, but not to me anymore. Maybe my expectations are better off met with other phone, like the one below.

I'm considering of signing up for Singtel 3G Flexi-Lite AMPed(Youth). So in doing so, the Nexus S would cost me $398 dollars whereas the Incredible S would cost me about the same... but when i check it out just now, it went down to $298. Definately gonna get it!

As usual, i'm gonna stick to this phone until the next best things could convince me to change otherwise.

PS: Top Gear just brings so much emotions... at times.

The outing with the guys were great,,, but alot of shit takes place, shit that i never expect to arise from the situation.

The trip was fine. Everything we planned for do go as to planned. However when we were heading home, we got into an accident. Our Nissan Cefiro came in contact with a Toyota Vios left door and left side of the bumper. That situation got us into a traumatised mode. When it happened, we were so supportive of our friend who is driving. We felt the stress he is going through, so we were deciding on paying for the damages after the Rental Agency settled with the Toyota Vios's owner about settling it privately without the use of any insurance claim. However, when the second day came... after we looked after the car and test drive it along the residence of Choc Chu Kang and Bukit Panjang... we started to have a change of mind about being supportive for our friend.

The thing is, another small accident took place on the second day... this time round was my friend's fault totally. He crashed onto a pillar of a car park and scrap against a wall upon exiting the car park. All done with no feeling of fear at all. Also, when we were heading to the Rental Agency, he almost ran over a red light! He was speeding, without checking the front lights, until we as the passenger have to scream for him to attempt his emergency brake, which he did. He's driving is very reckless that we swore not to have any driving fun with him anymore. We felt that it's best for him to retake his driving again. He seems to fail at every basic things a driver must do.... Check for blindpot. Check for drivers around him. Check his side mirrors and rear mirror before reversing. It's just too scary.

Now we have to pay him $280 for the damages incurred... something that has nothing to do with us. We wanna help, but not to the extend that it must be half of the costs. I just feel that he didn't appreciate the things we do to help him. He just seems to want to favour his situation more than ours. Whatever it is, it would be a long time till i would want to face him ever again. No offence, but it's something i just can't remember and forget just like that.

PS: I'm really very furious with all the lies he set us with.

Mother Nature's Mass Destruction...

Yesterday, Japan undergo a series of Earthquake that ended with a Tsunami sweeping across Sendai. It was reported to be the worst hit earthquake ever in Japan's History. Even with prior warnings, the tsunami pour into Sendai so quickly... taking away planes, cars, houses, trains and even ferries effortlessly. Hundreds are reported dead, and many more missing. While at the other part of Japan, residents were request to evacuate 3km from the Nuclear Reactor. The Earthquake was very strong, that they fear it might cause some radiation leaks with can be deadly to people around.

If you want to take part in the rescue efforts to help Japan, just stay tune to the medias available to you. There might be some way for you to help out. As for the rest of us, we are left to pray for a miracle... hoping that the destruction would end for now.

8 hrs cycling challenge...

So today, as usual, meet up with Mus & Fay for cycling. We did last Tuesday but this time round it's a little further than usual. Well when i mean little, i mean ZOMG ALOT!

So today we cycle from the Choa Chu Kang, going around Bukit Gombak, moving through the busy Jurong town council, going passed Chinese Garden, take a rest at Boon Lay Area and decided to extend further to Joo Koon. Well who would have thought that Joo Koon has nothing civilised for us 3 to stop for. So we activated our GPS system and find out that Joo Koon is about the furthest we can go and thus from that moment on... we make a U-turn. Having on the bike for 4 hours already took a major toll on my ass and my stamina. I must say i have very low stamina to begin with. So the journey back was rather slower than going. Took a few break at Jurong and finally Bukit Batok for Dinner. Nazi Ayam it is... i'll just eat about anything as long as it can fill me up. After which, we head back straight home.

If you read, you might have wondered.... how boring is our journey. But you'll be surprised that it isn't. At the end of the day, Fay suffered a scratch elbow and cuts on his knee after a freakish slippery fall. Mus suffered abbresion on his hand after what it was claim to be... "seizure" accident, and as for me... I'm having joint pain at my left knee. Despite all this, it was worth it. We went somewhere we never went before on a bicycle that is hardly functional! That is an achievement alright.

And as for the trip, it's finally settled. Was given a choice between Nissan Sunny, Suzuki Swift, Hyundai Tucson and Nissan Cefiro. Suzuki Swift is perfect for our trip but it was claimed to be small and not having a boot to accomodate our stuff during the journey. And also due to the fact that we can only get the car after 7pm... a little too late for us. Next is Nissan Sunny... it was perfect and everything but now my 2 friends claim that they want a bigger car for better comfort and space. Irritating as it sounds, they suggest the Hyundai Tucson. It was an SUV meaning that yea, the ride is comfortable and spacious... but the fuel consumption is HELL. So we're left with Nissan Cefiro.... having the comfort and space... at the same time a little touch of luxury. After all, it's not everyday we got to drive a car this big and luxurious. So why hate it? So Nissan Cefiro it is!

PS: There is an IT show convention taking place but too bad i was too broke to buy anything. Was thinking of buying an external hardisk... but i guess that have to wait. =\

HTC Incredible S

Looks like i'm settling for this phone after all. I mean Desire HD is good, but this is the improved version of it. And thus, the issues i used to have with Desire HD has been resolved through Incredible S... well mostly.

Well right here underneath is the unboxing review of the phone. Trust me when i say i was screaming like hell when i saw it. Somesort i was wrong about the quality... it looks solid and clean afterall.

PS: A little moody than usual and also a little unwell. Hope things would get better tomorrow.

I've notice how despite the fact that a Mercedes Benz C63 AMG is better in practicality and power and that the Jaguar XJ Supercharged Supersports is better in terms of luxury and value for money... i still say that the Maserati Quattroporte Sports GTS is still the best for me. It just has that passion and excitement you don't get in other European or Asian cars. It might not be fast, but the sound of it's V8 engine is enough to impress the people around. The exterior design is just so unique, you don't get to see the same thing elsewhere.

Other guys might have fancy Lamborgini, Ferrari or even Zonda as their dream car. But mine is rather unusual. I rather have this on top of the list of my Dream Car.

Now let's focus to something urgent. As you all know i have always wanted to buy the impressive HTC Desire HD and that recently i'm having my doubts about it being worth it. Now however, there is a new phone that is somesort similar to HTC Desire HD that i might be considering. Be hold.

HTC Incredible S

What differs from Desire HD isn't much in terms of functionality and th3 Android versions. It's much more to appearance and hardware.

The incredible S phone resolution is 4 inch, a little smaller than the 4.3 inch of Desire HD. In terms of screen wise, the Incredible S wins hands down and this could only means that the battery life is gonna be improved which i heard it did. This phone is lighter despite having an additional front facing camera and a bigger battery. One key feature is that this phone has a smartbutton functionality. It means if you rotate the phone to landscape, the buttons would do the same. This serve as some minor touch that makes this phone incredible indeed.

One downside is that the screen is smaller than Desire HD and that the design is much more quality and appealing on the Desire HD. And worst of all, both phones are the exactly the same price with a 2-year contract on Singtel... so how am i gonna choose between them?

Tension Overdose...

I've decided to check my school account email today after i got the feeling that something is just not right... and i was right. Turns out, the module chair of my course emailed me regarding the fact that i have to undergo another year in order to pass and graduate from school. He also asked for a reason why i haven't been attending school. Firstly, it's because the tension i've faced everyday... where there is always some form of arguement bound to happen at home without fail. Secondly is because I'm ashamed to come to school knowing i can't even afford a meal to last for a day. Lastly it's the real reason behind my absence... i feel that i have taken the wrong course. I have no interest in engineering at all, and i wish to go for either business or law... something i have been wanting to do. Doing things i don't have interest on have a huge impact on my performance and motivation towards school. I make an appeal to give me a chance so that i could prove everyone that i'm willing to put aside all the nonsence and focus on my studies from now on.

On another note, i have finish paying all my debt and bills... not just left for my phone bill. 2011 has been difficult for me so far, but i never complaint about it. I take it as a challenge for me to improve on myself. I also realised that i need to really priortised my school and work, to ensure i don't clash.

PS: I need to get the 2nd job... badly. =[

Job Hunt... for a second one.

First of all, don't get me wrong. I'm still working at the Regent Hotel, however i need a second job as i need to maximise my earning expenditure. So i figure with a second job, i can settle all the bills and debts that left me feeling uneasy for the whole time. Am contacting TOYS"R"US for a position, hopefully i could get it. So my paycheck hasn't been that satisfying, partly cause of my fault. I seems to turn down opportunity quite alot lately, so i deserve this.

Little sis went to camp today... i actually didn't know she was going to Bintan. For all i know, i thought she was camping somewhere in Singapore... Prolly Jalan Bahtera. Oh well, hope she's alright. Although one things bothers me, why didn't she allow me to see her blogpost? =[

The new 2012 Mercedes Benz C63 AMG is just so stunning. With a new facelift at the front, LED front headlamps and tail-lights, how can you not love the darn car. The sexy new headlamps is what that makes the car looks fierce, behind that roaring 6.2 liter V8 engine... well on the front actually.

And on top of that, i've heard that they are releasing the C-Class Coupe version, adding to the Saloon and Estate versions they have now. Finally, they have my favourite car as a coupe! Hopefully, the coupe can also have C63 AMG version too. That would just be sick! But one thing caught my attention though. I realised that the coupe version of the C-Class somehow looked too similar to the CL-Class.

Whatever it is, whether it's a saloon or a coupe... C-class or CL, what matters is that these cars are definately something that caused me to be in a high uncontrolled hyper mood now.

Let me see, yesterday was one of those days that i woke up early for no reason whatsoever. I guess i was waiting for one of my buddies to come out with a plan before i die of boredom. Sadly, they did came out with something 3 hours later...

Anyway nothing special we did yesterday. Just typical hang out at Fay's house. Very typical indeed. Supposingly planned to watch a horror movie, but it turns out into a Top Gear Marathon. Was kinda glad they got interested about the show. It was not just plainly a car informative channel, but rather a place of comedy and pure epic porpotion. You just can't miss it!

Music Video Addiction

I realised that it took me a while to like a certain song from certain singer. Mainly because i just don't wanna be fooled by the visual fantasy of the video. Some of them might have the best videos, but worst song combination. But this one by Miley Cyrus completely amaze me. She look more matured and i felt that for this one, she isn't trying to hard to be into character. Definately like this song.

As for today, another same boring say past by. Mus just called in. He invited me over to his house for gaming session. It's becoming so frequent that we went to his house. But i guess i have to agree on that, considering i really hate doing nothing at home, not that i don't like to be at home. I just can't handle the boredom.

Surprising news prior to a shocking news...

Okay so today wasn't like any other day. Today is the day i took only 3 hours of sleep, and thus resulted in grumpiness and slight mood sensitivity. But i'm fine now, after undergoing several Microsleeps. Definately worth it. :P

So anyway, today accompanied my buddy, Fay, for his work interview at Jurong Bird Park around 11am. When we were on the way to the location, we received a call from our buddy Mus confirming that he would be joining us, considering he is close by. So this was finally a trio day out... totally unexpected. Reached the location and Fay was asked to proceed to the office, guided by the friendly staff there. Having said that, we are left behind to bare with the agonizing long waiting time for him to get it over with. Me and Mus were starting to doze off at the chair area outside Bongo Burger Restaurant, however i couldn't go to the deep sleep due to several eyes watching over me. So i felt uneasy. But it was alright, saw a few birds nearby, including a Black Swan, Ducks and some unique bird species. Of course this was further ruined by some idiots who went out to feed the birds. It's not that we can't, these birds are taught to follow their only source of food supplier. So if you can drive of from the place without Birds tailing you, you're good.

So after Fay was done, me and Mus was hungry and decided to eat elsewhere considering the food at that particular location cost a fortune. But what comes next surprised me. Fay told me that the person in-charge wanted to interview me as well. The moment i received that awesome piece of news, i scram off from the location and went straight to ask for a application form before proceeding to the office.

During the interview, i was rather calm. The reason was the person in-charge was very approachable and friendly indeed. The fact that the questions he asked was easy, i gave him a more detailed answer... which seems to impress him pretty good. This is definately somethings that i must score to get the job, which i did. 25th February, the assesment day and i just can't wait. Sorry Regent Hotel, it's not that i don't appreciate you... but i think i'm better off doing something that i like rather than having to be force to do work just for the money. Plus Regent Hotel is starting to be too routine that i don't have the mood and motivation to move myself to work for them. Despite that, i would still keep the Hotel Job. As it serves as a back-up in case any short-of-cash situation were to take place, which seems to be happening quite alot lately.

Went to see a doctor for appointment and it turns out i have manage to lower my sugar level by half as compared to when i was first being diagnosed with Diabetes. It was an achievement, and to further improve my health...i have to make an effort to lose more weight. Which brings back to the Weight Lost Journey i have planned out early this year. Hopefully, i can shead of some weight, cause that's exactly what i've been trying to do. Received a 5-month medicine supply + the doctor's consultation... pretty much adds up to $70. Yes... it has indeed cause a huge hole through my wallet, which is why i make the decision to postpone the Road Trip some other time.

Local News

I've been hearing from people that the government would abolish the TV and radio license that has been inherited for years now.... which is a good thing. Things are getting high in cost, but the income received is still the same. Now for every $2, you could only buy 1 packet of vegetable instead of the usual 2 packet. This totally affects the lower and mid-income people. With these TV/Radio license abolish, it was hoped that it can ease up the burden of these people.

PS: I'm determined to lose some weight... but on a more ironic twist, i pretty much hungry now. =x

Updates on a very boring afternoon...

Well basically, i haven't been updating much about my life lately. Thanks to all this car reviews i've been doing as part of my great passion. But i can assure you now, that i would give you the longest update you ever seen.

Well basically i've been busy with my FYP projects, as the dateline for it's submission and presentation is closing in fast. So i spent more time than ever to actually make sure that it is capable of getting it done before we reach the dead end. So yesterday was the presentation, and i can just say it's all okay.

Lately, i haven't been working that often. I just don't feel i wanna to stress myself out of being tired. So currently i'm working on a 2 days-week schedule. This also prepares me much time to include in my second job schedule. And yes, I'm intending to have 2 jobs so that i wouldn't get sick of working at the same location again and again.

And i do also been hanging around with my buddies a little too much i must say. Its starting to bore me to death... no pun intended of course. :P But what can i say, they are the only ones who i would prefer hanging out with than some other friends i have.

NEWS FLASH!

I've been thinking lately about taking a car license, meaning either a class 3 or class 3A. Both of which are good, depending of what you want. I mean with a class 3, you have the benefit to handle both Automatic and Manual cars. So you are entitled to any cars on the road. With class 3A, you are also entitled to drive Automatic or Manual but with a twist. The Manual must be those kind without the clutch pedal. Confused? Well, remember a car has 3 pedals?

The left one is the clutch, center is the brake and the right is the acceleration. This is how an ordinary Manual cars work. Now look at another one below.

Only 2 pedals, the left one for braking and right one for accelration. Probably you would think, "Than where does the manual came into place?". It's right there! Yes, for a class 3A drivers to drive a manual, you would only need 2 pedal, because the gear clutch is automatic. You only get to change the gear, usually via pedal shifters mounted at the steering wheel, those with the 'plus' or 'minus' sign to indicate up shift and down shift, as shown below.

So yea, i was thinking of taking the Class 3A driving license. Many suggest for me to take the Class 3 instead. I mean it's true, why have one when you can have both? But class 3A has manual too, just without the clutch pedal. And it would be simpler to acquire one, as its focus better to 2 pedals rather than 3. But than again, that's soley up to my opinion. I won't stop anyone from taking class 3 license, but i'm on my way into taking class 3A.=]

A blocky to a hottie...

Today, i'm going to talk about how refining a car's design would make a difference between HOT and NOT. So i'm not gonna mention so much about engine type, horsepower, handling or any info of that sort... just plainly the design.

Let's take a look at the Volkswagen Passat.

Now, take a look at the Volkswagen Passat CC.

Both are actually the same car, but the Passat CC is the outcome after the face-lift and the re-design body contour of the original Passat. Not that i don't favour Passat, but it tends to look blocky annd unappealing from any angle you looked at it. The Passat CC has managed to give the car a more refine "coupe" look overall. Same concept used in the Mercedes CLS before. And the results? Simply stunning.

What they did is to lower down the ride by 15 mm. Reduce the height of the ceiling. Add a little more length to the car. And the most vital factor, making the rear trunk small so as to create that coupe essence look down at its rear. They have also make a more refien curve design through almost every part of the car. The bumpers, the rear deck design as well as a very sleek and contoured headlamps and tail-lights. Overall, it just makes the Passat CC so good to look at than the original Passat.

Recently, I've been on a huge crush on Jaguar XJ, Maserati Quattroporte... and so on. My thoughts during that time would be the most ideal, best value for money car i can ever have. But face it, a guy my age should ignore all that and just go for a car that i wanna be with for most of my trip on the road. Might not be practical, overly expensive or just plain attention-whore... it would still make me, well me. Those Jags, Maserati, mercedes would have to wait till I'm 30.

Nothing new, but the Nissan GT-R is my ultimate all-time favourite. The thing is that this R35 is in a totally new class, as compared to its incestors such as the R34, that it decided to take away the name "Skyline" and just stick to GTR. After all, this isn't a sportscar anymore... it's a performance driving Godzilla!

Went to SGmart.com, where i found the price for used as well as brand new version of this car. The price of a used GTR 3.8A Premium is somewhere around SGD $218, 800, whereas the brand new would cost a whopping SGD $311, 000. Totally falling in love with this hot ride. Till now though, i can't see what's so "unattractive" about the looks of the car. It's just so stunning!

Well basically i did some research, without fail once again, relating to car of a certain class... mainly the huge luxury sedan appropiate for the rich businesssmen. We have a few choices here in Singapore, but these cars doesn't come cheap either. We need to ensure that the ride is comfortable. Fitted with quality interior and system as well as good safety features. Of course the fuel economy, for how much it swallows for a certain distance. And lastly, ValueForMoney. If we're going to go for facts, I'm sure everyone can read them on the websites available online, virtually anywhere. So this is just base on my opinion.

I would pick the Jaguar, Maserati and Merc as the good looking ones. The design of these cars are unique and just amazing in details. The Jaguar has a very sexy rear tail-lights that stretch all the way up and the smooth finish at the rear. The Maserati looks fierce, with its grills and those grills at the side of the cars that scream, I'm COMING DOWN. The Merc S class just looks luxurious as well as modern, with its clean cut designs and a very promising rear looks.

In terms of ValueForMoney, I would pick the Jaguar. Reason being is it cost way lesser than all of the other 7 cars mentioned above but still provide the comfort, technology, power and practicality it needs in a car of that class. It may not be as fast as Bentley or Merc, but just take a look at it. Bentley is expensive beyond believe. It provides similar, or lesser, to what Jaguar could offer in terms of technology and comfort but it costs SGD $300,000 more. That amount where you could drive the jaguar and treat your family to a wonderful vacation getaway... and 6km per liter in fuel consumption? That's the worst in comparison to all other 7 cars. Mercedes on the other hand might win over fuel consumption, however in terms of engine... it pretty much loses. For a V12 Bi-turbo, it can only produce 7bhp more than what Jaguar can offer in its V8 Supercharged, mainly due to the weight. Jaguar is made up of aluminium for weight reduction, better for speed, fuel as well as handling.

So as you can see, Jaguar has in fact came out with a car that beats most of its competitor under a price tag of about SGD $460,00. That's cheaper than any car of its class! Looks like this car goes to my FavzCarz List after all.

Stress out...

Stress is good, to keep a person going so as to complete the tasks given to him. However too much of stress, just makes everything difficult to process in the head. Eventually, you feel like screaming and just wanna end it for now. That's exactly what i feel.

Firstly, it's because of FYP. Basically it's not progressing well enough to be considered an achievement. The changes were minimal and help is beyond reach. Not that I'm pointing a finger at anyone, but i feel it would be good if we had proper help from the start, not someone who hasn't got much clue on what we're doing. The thoughts of this and how short of time we are, makes me so tense up and worried.

Another case is work. Basically I've been busy to keep myself committed to both work and academics.... however academics being the top priority. I've been cancelling work lately due to FYP last minute work that requires my attendance, also partially because i need a break of my mind. But when i hear people cursing me for not coming to work, i felt really upset... to the point that i feel that i need to tell them in the face what the situation is. Eventually, i just let it be. It takes one more time for them to even mention that i cancel work for fun, i would be on my way out of that job. I don't need to work for someone who basically has no understanding on how difficult my life system is. School starts at 9 and ends at 4 daily. Sometimes after school there's meeting or lecture to attend to that benefits my graduation. And sometimes i need to spent some time with my friends to distress. I guess they would never understand all this... It's just sad.

Choosing a car in the real world...

I've always been dreaming of having a dream car of my own but face it, it's far from reach as far as I'm concerned. To earned a Quattroporte which cause almost half a million, i have to ensure i have a well-paid job to begin with. So i started thinking what possible way i could get a car that fulfills the 3 pointers... Elegance, Unique and Practical, under a more reasonable price. Done some research and i think i found one.

Let me introduce to you... Saab 9-3 Aero 2.0 TS.

Elegance due to the magnificant charm Saab have over their cars.
Unique because it's Saab, not much driven here in Singapore.
Practical as it's a four door sedan, very much for that unexpected guests.

Basically i came across Saab back when i was in secondary school. I didn't know Saab exist at all during that time but one thing is certain. When it drives past me, it immediately got my attention. The looks of it is so charming, i keep staring at it until it pulls away. From that moment on, i started to wonder what kind of model is that. And finally it came clear to me. It is the 9-3.

However there is some drawbacks of Saab. The exterior is fairly good looking, and the interior is fairly acceptable but however... i got my doubts on the dashboard. Just look at it.

The gear lever, the steering wheel is all good except the one in the middle. Basically it looks like an equipment machine down there with a little too much buttons going on. Furthermore it looks kinda outdated, something coming from a Toyota corolla... 1998.

The dealer hasn't give me much choice to look at i the car. I mean i can't tell whether the back seat is spacious, or is the seats comforting. But i do know it's a value to money car for me. This used version of the car cosr SG$55 000. Half the price of a brand new model. COE starts at SG$18 000 and road tax begins belowSG$1 300. Price bargain indeed for a car from Saab.

The weekend has been well, apart from the weather. I mean it rains so frequently that it looks like it rained all the time, 24/7. I sense some flooding in low tide residential... but i'm not concerned. My apartment sits nicely on top of a hill. Heheh.

So the weekend was spent playing C&C LAN gaming with the usual clan. I must say we can never get bored with this game, however I'm trying my best to get my hands on C&C 3 :Tiberium War. Graphics are so much better, not sure about the gameplay though.

For the past few days, I've been researching on cars... nothing new i guess but it's a good habit. Dig-up on Toyota's Camry models. There are two types of Camry basically... the Camry 2.4V (aka Asian model) and the Camry XLE (aka American model) as shown below...

If i were to pick one, i would pick the 2.4V version. Both are almost the same in terms of size and pricing, however the 2.4V has the element of elegance and luxury reflected from the exterior design. Whereas the XLE version looks plain ordinary, like a corolla taking viagra... big corolla. Mainly what i don't like so much about XLE is the front grill, the front headlamp and the rear taillights. Take all of these out, and you'll realised that it's just about the same as 2.4V. But of course, nothing beats my Quattroporte Sports GT-S in my very eyes... =]

PS: I guess i have to cancel work today. A trip from Sentosa to Regent hotel at this very weather under 1 hr is virtually impossible.

Went to shopping today looking or a earpiece since i lost mine yesterday. However upon surveying, i consider buying headphones instead... since they provide better base and sound quality. Besides, I've been wanting one for a year now. So i actually did buy one... a black base with a touch of green. Definately eye-catching. Worth $58 at Popular... a special bargain than those at the specialised headphones stores that costs $78.

PS: Now i need to contorl my spending...

Today can be one of those day where i wanna break down. Firstly is because the trip I've been busy planning 3 weeks ago came to a complete halt, as we need to replanned everything all over again from February to March. Then there is work, not my current work but rather some events work that's gonna happen around the CNY week, which take place at Resort World Sentosa. It was promised that we are appointed to work for 5 days at $100 each day... however when i call them today, we were only appointed for 2 days, which pretty much ruined my plan to get a new handphone. Lastly is the fact that is that I'm suffering from those days where i just completely hate myself.... just about everything. Felt so disgusted when i look in the mirror. Felt like screaming.

Apart from that, i need a new earpiece since i misplaced it somewhere in school today. Gonna be really akward without one, since I'm always using it in class. And that brings to my financial planning, which is currently under stressload planning. I need to chill, but i don't really think i could.

PS:I just really hate my body, my face, my appearance, my weight, my skin, my health... MYSELF!!!

Lately, i always classified Audi as a sporty car with a class but not enough beauty. Somehow, the new generation of Audi was design in a way that it wins my heart, literally. Also, the newer generations are far more eye-catching than any of the new generation of BMW or Mercedes, sadly considering I'm a huge fan. So there is this one particular model, that actually got my interest...

Today hasn't been too great for me, but i try to act normal as much as i can to make it seems I'm alright... but god knows how hurt i am inside. I was confirmed to be suffering from Diabetes type II. And doctor claims that i'm in a pretty bad state now considering my sugar level in blood is twice the amount from average. So i have to start on meds immediately, and continue to follow up for the treatment and consultation for the rest of my life.

But i got family and friends who are willing to support me to go through this difficult phase of life together. I'm really thankful for that. Hopefully, i could be better in terms of my health.

PS: Can't wait for my paycheck....=\

Handphone Surveying...

Today, me and my friends spent the day looking through Handphone models... Nokia, Sony Ericsson, HTC, Blackberry, Samsung, Acer, LG and few others. We each have different standards as to how we want our phones to be, and what kind of function is available for use. In additon, what kind of mobile plan that best suits youths like us. So far, the Youth Plan seems to be appropiate, as it offers great outgoing call and best unlimited SMSes.

One of my friends, Faisal... wanna go for handphones that provide basic social connections, such as Facebook and MSN, and provides essential functions such as music player, video player and Wi-Fi. He doesn't mind as to whether it would be a touch-screen kind, Qwerty keypad kind or the basic Numerical keypad kind. As for mobile plan wise, he prefers those that benefits him the best in terms of unlimited SMSes and Free-campus calls. So it looks like the Youth Plan is gonna be favourable to him. Also, he has been keeping an eye on this certain handphone model from Sony Ericsson for quite a while now. Turns out, the phone fits his description pretty well. And so this is what he was planning to get.

As for other friend, Mus... he wants to get a phone which isn't touch screen. As he felt that he suffers enough, after using LG Arena... which is currently in the Mobile shop for repair after the screen stop functioning. SO he was looking for a phone that has keypad. And in stores now we have a choice of the normal Numerical keypad or the more sophiscated Qwerty Keypad. As for mobile plan, he seems to be happy with what he have now, not that he have any choice. :P He was aiming on Blackberry phones, as he consider them to be reliable and stylish to a very different level than the rest of the other phones, other companies have to offer. So here is what he was aiming for.

As for me, i have quite a specific standard for the kind of phone i wish to have, and Apple Iphone is out from my list. No offence, but i just refuse to fit into the norm with all the Iphone application and gadgets. It tends to lose its originality, as majority of people can effort it now. Okay, so what i'm looking for is for a phone which is Android and have a huge touch-screen. It must also contain functions which is beneficial, and provide extra things that might seems little but does makes life easier. Since i'm contanstly afraid of loosing my handphone, i would like it to be remotely accessible, just in case. As for mobile plan, i would wanna go with the Youth plan, with the same reason as Faisal. For the past few months, I've been eyeing on HTC. Even though it's not that popular among the majority... it's still manage to be a contender of Iphone itself. So you would have guessed, but i would tell you anyway...

So me and Faisal, has made my decision except Mus. He seem to be still browsing through the different models. This means now that a good financial planning would be vital to get the phone of our dreams.

Doctor took me by surprise...

Basically i wasn't feeling well today. So shortly after i enter the class, i decided to leave to proceed to the nearest polyclinic to get myself an MC, to apply for LOA for both my daily grade and UT. Then surprisingly, i met Fay who was also ill at the moment. To not waste time, we took a cab to the clinic which cost us around $5. Got in and have to wait till 1.45pm as the clinic was closed for lunch break.

Got my number, called upon and proceed to the diagnosis room, where things shocked me for good. I am basically honest when it comes to my healthy lifestyle routine... so i told the doctor everything i need to know. First, the stomach situation going around at times is actually called Abdonminal Colic, where i would feel pain at my stomach area not able to supress it, feeling bloated. Second, i was told because of my condition of being dehyrated and frequent visit to the gents... i might be suffering from Diabetic. It's not comfirmed but i guess i have to go for the blood test tomorrow morning and came back on the following week for the results.

So from 9pm just now till tomorrow's blood test, I'm not allowed to eat anything except comsuming of mineral water. Hopefully nothing serious would come out from it.

Weight Loss Journey Updates...

I've loss another 3 kg this week... which brings it to 107kg for my current weight. Things look good, as i have changed my eating habit and try to be physcially active wherever possible. I've target to lose it to 100kg at least.

What i did to achieve it:

Reduce the carbohydrate intake.
Stick to meal at the correct time.
Stop having late night supper.
Minimize junk food intake.
Walk to school instead of taking the 2 stop bus.

PS: My mood is further going down south... and i have no idea why.

Weight Loss Journey...

Lately, i haven't been feeling good about myself, in terms of my health and body weight. Been feeling slugish and sickish too often that it kinda gets to me. Everyday of my life I've been wanting to be a size 30, at the least. Don't get me wrong, i have already lost 8 kilograms... but i feel i can do much more.

Why you asked?

Well basically my friend, Ashton, has lose alot of weight that he is beyond recognition... in a good way that is. He just basically looks more confident now. Another one is the famous actress in Under One Roof sitcom in 1994, Norleena Salim... She dropped down half size, literally. She went from Yo Momma to Charles Angles... She claim it's never easy and it takes years, but its definately worth it. Just look at her before and after picture.

This people have prove to me that nothing is impossible. If you want it, it can happen...just in the matter of mindset. And i will do it, for the sake of my own happiness. =]

Dear generals,

As you guys know that Hafiz is now the new leader of the team, i expect no changes in standard than when our dear Murdoc was running the team. So right now, what you have to do is to syncronize your weekly-log and inform me of any errors or changes that needed to be done.

My Review: Luxury & Sporty Sedan

I pick 2 cars, base on their ability to attract my attention to themselves. Their name alone is enough to bring the chills down the spine of those who dare to dream about them. But before i introduce what they are, I'm gonna revealed to you the place where they are brought to life.

Both have their strength that makes their cars irresistably impressive. But according to a rookie opinion as mine, i would say Maserati brings the elegance and sports up a much higher level as compared to the Merc. In addition, it's much rare to see a Maserati on the roads than to see a common Mercedes. So to make the comparison much more subjective, i pick one model from each brand... models that i think is the hotstuff in the automobile world.

Even though the Merc clearly wins in this category of Luxury & Sporty Sedan, i would still go for the Maserati. What can i say, people get stunned over a Maserati than a plain Merc than blends against the crowd.

PS: It sad how i still haven't acquire a driving license. =[

School already started and well i kinda miss the first day as i thought that it wouldn't be appropiate to not spent another day at home. So today was kind alright considering i have one of those dreams that leaves me thinking throughout the whole day when i'm awake. It was a dream i like for sure, but forgotten what it was all about.

Last Saturday at work was epicly exhausting... to my feet that is. My safety-boots deteoriate till the soles of the shoes ripped off from the shoes and there's hole everywhere, leaving my feet battered. That is the last time i'm wearing that shoes.So today i plan to shop for the safety boots. Usually i wouldn't bother and just stick to a normal black school shoes however, i realised the working conditions at my workplace is risky and potentially dangerous and thus... Safety-boot it is.

Bought the new one for $39 nearby. Was hoping to buy one from Kings, however there isn't any nearby. So i just stick with this foreign brand ones.

Today i had cravings for sweet stuff.

I had a Hersley-style chocolate milkshake. Then i had a peach yogurt medium size. After which a strawberry ice-blended with strawberry jelly with Pie Kia Mexican pie. TOTAL AWESOME! :D

PS: Tomorrow is gonna be very akward... or shall i just forget it? :\

Squeezing updates is a result of a fun holiday break...

The holiday has been great so far for me. A LovelyDate with my 5 Babes on the 20th, Beach Picnic on the Xmas, F-5 Beach date on the 27th. It's been really fun despite the wet weather. This is what i meant by a great vacation. You don't have to go overseas to enjoy peace and joy in your life.

For today, things has been unexpected. Well literally.

First of all, who knows that FYP would be that darn of a great time of my life. Only because the lab is locked and we don't have any choice either that we ended up at the Archade @ CausewayPoint. :P

Played some Initial D. Battle Gear 4, and some carnival-like game with Dr. Murdoc and Hafiz. Destressing, for no reason at all... awesome.

Secondly, Fay and Mus turn up to treat me for dinner and a movie. Considering Mus is recruited in by Pulau Tekong later on. We watch the movie Little Fockers. It was alright, pretty funny. But the storyline is a little tasteless. My opinion rating would be 2.5 stars.

PS: Using Murdocs HTC Desire makes me gone beserk even more... -screams-

Unaware Racism?

In Singpore, we are greatful to be living in a community who works hand in hand and build a safe and warm place for everyon, regardless of what race they came from. And i'm among one of them who can't tolerate the act of racism. I mean if it's a joke of any kind, i would know. But this, i assure you it's not.

Let's take a look at this status update i found in our famous social network, Facebook.

I'm not gonna tell who he is, but he is well known among his intelligent bunch of fans. No puns intended.

The issue here is that he make a claim that Chinese are unaware of where they came from as Chinese are seen to be celebrating Chinese New Year and Christmas at the same time. Strike one. And then he further expand that Muslim are better as we are faithful to what we believe in. Strike two.

I'm not gonna wait till it hits strike three to make me feel upset than i already am. First of all not all Chinese are Buddist or Taoist. The majority number of Chinese here are Christians themselves. Which explain why they celebrate Christmas. And Chinese New Year is another celebration for them to celebrate their culture. So, they are not toally ignorant of where they came from.

Secondly, some of the Muslims are not even better themselves. If you wanna talk about religion, then why is this writer on a constant rampage of getting drunk and always in need of hormones shot when he claims he is a Muslim? To even mention he celebrate Hari Raya, just points out the huge IRONY of his statement.

I love the fact that i have chinese, indian, caucasian and malay friends in my life. They make me realised that we are all the same of what we do and race or religion has nothing to do with one's action. So to here a popular person make an issue out of this, just frustrates me to a whole new level.

PS: If you're his fans, try to be more human and think through of the statement he made before supporting him on full blast. Cause it makes some of you looks like his dog, rather than his fans. I'm not saying to stop supporting him, I'm saying that sometimes a critic is what he needs from a fan to wake him up into reality.
